Hot Spots
Dogs chew, itch, and sometimes they tear themselves raw in the process. Antibiotics and steroids are typically the norm from your vet, sometimes with multiple rounds of these drugs – to the detriment of your animal.
Ear Fungus
Those white, thick, crusty, and flaky patches inside the dog’s inner ear are a type of fungus which makes ears very sensitive and uncomfortable.
Demodectic Mange
Demodex in the dog is a common infestation of the skin with tiny, cigar-shaped, eight-legged mites. Also referred to as demodectic mange, the mites reside and feed in the hair follicle and oil glands of the skin.
Fighting Pythiosis
Typically found in young, large breed dogs, this disease is often deadly. It is caused by a parasite, called pythium insidiosum, that commonly resides in swampy water.
